Indore is located in central India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The best time to visit the historic city is between the months of September to March. The airport is 9 kilometers away from the city center, and serves flights from Bhopal, Delhi, Mumbai and other major Indian cities. It is also well linked to the rest of the country by rail.
