|Great bag but terrible handles!,
The bag material is solid, looks awesome and travels well. It appears to be tough and I expect it to not tear, etc. The bag is very light and folds nicely into a small, thin square.
The bad stuff:
Well then why the 3 stars … the handle is terrible. You can easily load about 40 lbs of stuff and quite possibly get carried away with the overall light weight. But carrying it around is very very inconvenient. There is no foam or other comfort options so you are forced to hold the thin handles. With 40+ pounds of stuff in the bag it, the handles literally cut into your hands. I am generally ok carrying 50+ across even international terminals. With this I can barely get by 50 ft before I have to switch hands. The shoulder strap is available but carrying a large bag like this is bulky and inconvenient. Net-net: I suspect I am NOT going to load this beyond 30 lbs
I am going to look for a foam cover for the handles … if anyone has found one please post 🙂
