Works for the price,
I just bought this for a trip to San Diego for a wedding and a chance to play at Torrey Pines. Did the job as expected but here are the caveats:
1) case is not overly large – I have a stick-stand bag that I’d call medium in size and it fit in snugly leaving just enough room for my driver and a pair of shoes
2) any normal driver today is going to be too long to fit in this case while still in bag – had to remove driver from bag and place along side
3) the hings pins are not off the best construction – inspect after every time closing the case with clubs inside and after picking up from baggage claim – you may have to push some back in that have come partially dislodged
4) agree with other’s advice here to also buy a $10 TSA-approved luggage strap to run around the case and lock through the side handle – that way if any pins are damaged the case will still be held together.

Sturdy and at 1/4 the cost of others,
I have had this item for 6 months and have flown with it 3 times.
I would buy this again in a heartbeat and I have already recommended it to several of my friends and family.
Pros:
# Hard case
** This means you do not have to get the club insurance through airlines like you would if it is soft case (at least on Southwest)
** You do not need to get an additional club proctor to put in bag like you would for a soft case
# Price
** This is 50% cheaper than most good quality soft cases (enough said)
# Cons:
** Latches
>>> Like others I have had issues with the latches
—- They have not broken but I have had to push the pin back in a couple times as it tried to sneak out
—- I always mitigate this by using a latching strap around the case
** Size (This might not be a fair con; explained further below)
>>> I am able to fit my CART bag in the case but cannot have my shoes in the side pouches
—- Anyone using a professional size cart bag would probably not have it fit
>>> My driver fits in the case (while in the bag) but just barely
—- If someone is using an extra-long driver they would have to pull it out of bag most likely (but still room to keep in case unless you are using the pro size club bag)
>>> This might not be a fair con
—- I have seen several of the much more expensive hard cases and only the $300 range ones seem to be large enough to accommodate a pro sized cart bag
—- I also easily found a working arrangement that allows me to take everything inside the hard case
1. I take my driver out of the bag itself and place the driver in the case on top of bag (again I have a cart bag but the driver will fit on top of case with the case shut)
2. I then place my shoes at the top snuggled among the club heads
3. I place the towels wrapping the club heads to make sure they don’t bang around inside of my bag (no iron covers)
—- This arrangement allows me to take all 14 clubs, umbrella, towels, shoes, and all my accessories (though it is tight fit and I have to be careful closing it)
