    I am a beadweaver always on the lookout for light-weight, portable, solutions for travelling with my beading projects. Beadsmith sells a very lovely zippered leather case for $100. However, it is small and very expensive. I explored many zippered tablet covers/cases but, except for this one, do not open on three sides. This case is perfect. It is lighter and larger than the Beadsmith, very attractive, well-made, and 1/4 the cost. The only downside is that the top is not self-supporting (neither is the Beadsmith) if you do not have something to lean it against. I solved that by making hinges with some large paper clamps and rubber bands. I also purchased a Grid-It Cocoon to hold tools. It fits inside the case nicely on top of my beading mat, which is easy to cut and insert.

    I just received this 13″ hard case. Out of box, there is an elegant looking, business like case. Without hesitation, I put my newly bought 13″ Toshiba Chromebook 2, its charger, a 7″ tablet, a headset, a phone charger, a tablet charger, a hotspot, and a folder containing some 11 X 8 papers. All these fit in perfectly well.

    My charger is 1 inch in thickness. Not bulky. Not small either.

    Most part of the case is waterproof except the zipper. This hard case provides my laptop and accessories with much better protection than a soft case. It looks much better too.

    The case is very light. I have not weighed it. However, it does not feel heavier than a similarly sized soft case.

    The strap is very wide. Much more comfortable than those narrow straps of my other cases.

    The plastic swivel clips and rings look study. They are definitely easy to use. The strap wouldn’t be tangled because of the swivel clips. However, I prefer metal clips and rings.

    Another minor inconvenience it the two rings are too close together. It makes the case fit better for smaller people. I would have felt more comfortable if the two rings can be a couple of inches further apart.

    5 stars! No question about that!

    Update 10/17/16

    Replaced the 7″ tablet with an 8″. Still fit in with space to spare. I will try 10″, with the 13″ Chromebook, next time.

    I ordered this 10″ case so that my husband, son, and I would have a place to put all of our chargers and cables when we go out for long periods of time. For example, we went to a Pokemon Go event for several hours, and were able to carry not only my son’s 7″ tablet, but a backup charger for it, as well as three other charge banks, a charger case, and all of the relevant cables. I like that the case comes with both a wrist strap and a shoulder strap, as they make carrying it around hassle-free. We did not have any trouble zipping the case with our things inside, and it was easy to carry on my shoulder without feeling clunky or awkward. It feels well constructed, and the semi-hard shell ensures that if someone bumps into us, it won’t damage our devices. I wouldn’t sit on it or anything, but it feels sturdy enough to hold up to everyday situations. Overall, this case does exactly what I ordered it for, and I am very pleased with it.
