I had the luxury of knowing the quality of samsonite boarding bags because this is the third I have purchased on amazon. This bag was intended for inland travel, but the size works for overnight to a few days depending on whether you’re a pack rat like me or not. There are pockets and cubby holes everywhere in this bag, so I can separate shoes and toiletries and the main compartment is easily accessible. The strap is adjustable and comfortable on my shoulder for extended periods, and I did take one of these bags on several international trips and was able to comfortably use it as a carry on with a stroller and toddler in tow. That speaks to the ease of use of these bags. I highly recommend it. However, a suggestion for samsonite would be a line of carry on luggage that is feminine, i.e. ease of use, but prettier. Just a thought, I would buy that in a second. I have attached photos for reference, hope it helps.

This bag is great!!! I had a larger duffel bag that was just too large for most of the 2 day trips that I take. This bag is perfect for that. Small enough to fit under the seat (if you need to put it there), but large enough for about 2-3 days worth of clothes.
